Take It Easy 03:29
I miss the days of young refrain. We would holler just to hear the sounds of our own name. A holiday from everything. You'd cry on my shoulder and I knew just what to say. I'd tell you take it easy. All we have is right now. I'd say the road doesn't get any easier so lets live it right now. I serenade those summer days. That wild river rose and fell from songs we made. Our fashion made those squares afraid. Our hand-me-downs were armor sown with friendship made. I'd tell them take it easy. All we have is right now. I'd say the road doesn't get any easier so lets live it right now. Those lonely days seem far away. That Great Salvation saved my soul from torn and frayed. We show our age. A years a day. Every moment lived in life is scared upon my face. I tell myself take it easy. 'Cause all I have is right now. I say the road doesn't get any easier so lets live it right now.

Buffalo Gum 04:02
These were the times before the crash. With a halo of buffalo seed. I gotta dent where my pickaxe rest. I felt salt on my lips. That's the taste of the big blue sea. Ain't it funny cuz, all we had was the clothes on our backs, and the stagecoach ran for miles and miles. Trails worn down with buffalo gum. Then the opium dens started up, and he was too distracted at 15. He's a latchkey kid from California, in the station wagon there. For sale sign on the window says "My how times have changed". Old buffalo standin' there. Ghost like an ice kill. The old growth are fallin' down. I ain't no religious man. I ain't no minstrel man, just a dead man walking.....downtown.

Rosie 03:22
Well I met Rosie at night school. She's into charity. She gave me some change said you look emaciated. She said she's broken a lot of men but she can't break a broken man. You're fixin' to see why my hands is always shakin'. You're fixin' to see why my hands is always shakin'. We settled into the picket fence. Conversation turned argument. She says it's my fault why her faith is always shakin'. Oh Jesus Christ don't take Rosie cuz now her faith is shakin'. Oh Jesus Christ don't like Rosie, you know her faith is shakin'. I said Rosie don't leave me, for a new age JC. She changed her name to Moonbeam. She said she read it in the tea leaves at the table. And the Sun is always down in the mountains. I loved you but time has taken it's toll on us, move on down the road, I swear this day'd never come..I mourn. I love you still. I still love you Moonbeam or whatever your name is now, (Rosie). I still love you Moonbeam or whatever your name is now, (Rosie). I said Rosie, "You're fixin' to see why my hands are always shakin', shakin' now".....
