This self-titled debut album by The Great Salvation was recorded and released back in 2005 . Originally it was only available on CD but in 2015 a limited run of vinyl records were pressed through Nick Davis's label, etown records out of Nashville, TN. At that time it was remastered for vinyl by Shelley Anderson and I was sent digital copies of the newly remastered album. In 2020 as I was preparing to release my solo album on Bandcamp I realized that The Great Salvation album has never been released in a digital format. I couldn't let this travesty persist any longer so I dug up the digital copies of Shelley's vinyl remaster and remixed and mastered them specifically with the digital listener in mind. Shelley's remasters sounded a thousand times better than the original CD master so I didn't have to do much. I basically just tried to bring out the low end a bit more because I think Jon is doing some awesome stuff and It would be a shame to not give it a spotlight, but other than that, I just did a few tweaks here and there and when the smoke cleared I'm happy to state that I think this is the best it's ever sounded and I'm thrilled to be able to share it with ya'll.
